Leyso is a free map application showing sun-exposed café and restaurant terrasses in Geneva, Switzerland. It is produced and published by Avisarem. Contact: contact.avisarem@gmail.com
Leyso collects no personal data. Specifically:
Leyso can show your current position on the map. This is entirely optional. If you grant permission, your location is used only on your device to place a marker on the map — it is never sent to any server, stored, or logged anywhere. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings app.
Leyso may send you local notifications to let you know when a sunny terrasse is available near you. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No data leaves your device to produce them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
All terrasse and map data is bundled inside the app or fetched from public open-data sources:
When the weather icon is shown, Leyso fetches the current weather for Geneva's coordinates from Open-Meteo's public API. No personal information is included in this request.
Tapping "Y aller" opens Apple Maps (on iOS) or maps.apple.com (on the web) with the terrasse coordinates pre-filled. Leyso does not control what Apple does with that information; please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Leyso does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
If we ever make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect no personal data, changes are expected to be minor and infrequent.
