Leyso is a free map application showing sun-exposed café and restaurant terrasses in Geneva, Switzerland. It is produced and published by Avisarem. Contact: contact.avisarem@gmail.com
Leyso does not build a profile of you. Specifically:
The one exception is optional terrace tags you choose to submit — see section 4 below.
Leyso can show your current position on the map. This is entirely optional. If you grant permission, your location is used on your device to place a marker on the map and for nearby search — it is never sent to our servers. Your last known position may be saved locally on your device so the map can restore it on the next launch. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device's Settings app.
Leyso lets you tick optional features on a terrasse (parasol, Wi‑Fi, dogs allowed, table count, etc.). This is crowd-sourced information shared with other users.

To request removal of tags for a specific terrasse, email us with the terrasse name and, if possible, a link from the app.
Leyso saves some preferences locally in your browser or app storage (for example favorites, language, theme, recent searches, notification settings, and the terrace-tag cache above). This data stays on your device unless you delete the app or clear site data.
Leyso may send you local notifications to let you know when a sunny terrasse is available near you. These notifications are generated on your device from local data and settings. No personal data is sent to our servers to produce them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.

If you use the owner contact form to add or correct a terrasse, Leyso prepares an email in your mail app. You choose whether to send it. The message may include business details you enter (name, address, hours, phone, website, optional tags). We process those emails manually; nothing is uploaded without your send action.
Tapping “Y aller” opens Apple Maps (on iOS) or maps.apple.com (on the web) with the terrasse coordinates pre-filled. Leyso does not control what Apple does with that information; please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Optional tips use Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive your card details.
Leyso does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
We update this page when the app changes in ways that affect privacy. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
